How do we stand out?
We have gorgeous woods of all sizes and shapes with some truly gigantic slabs that have an acompaning hardwood legs and frame designed specifically for that table.  Our slabs have been crafted to preserve their natural or live edge; this adds a very beautiful look however slabs are also available with a straight edge for a more modern appeal. Almost all of our products are harvested sustainably, meaning the trees were being cleared already for development when we harvested them.

We have wood from all over The Big Island, but with most of it coming from right here in Puna. Different types of hawaiian hardwoods present varying colors, textures, and patterns in their grain, making each unique. Who Are We?
Hawaii Local Woods is a mill and finishing business located on the Big Island. Nearly all our showcase is crafted from trees salvaged or harvested in the Puna district. A rich history accompanies each of our handcrafted tables, many of them being hundred of years old. The first wood to come off the mill was from the family homestead: a stand of Rainbow Eucalyptus was threatening to fall onto our home. We are now finishing and working wood from around the island.
